Evening sails

Saw 4 or 5 sails yesterday afternoon and caught a double just after sunset. We were fishing between 140 and 200 from Deerfield to Boca with live pilchards. Didn't score any blackfins - had one good bite on the light mono leader that came unglued.

Nice work. Were you able to get livies in Boca inlet?

There are pilchards in Boca right now. If you are one of the first there you will get some shots with a cast net. They get hammered and shy real quick and then you have better success using sabikis even if your throwing a 12 ft net.
