Boynton's martini glass didn't have much going on...pretty blue water well inside the reef, bait, kings out to 300ft, and no sailfish to be found. Fished it from 7 - 11:30.
Hi-speeded south to the San Remo area and missed a wahoo. ![]() Set up down there and released a sail in 200ft. Ate a flatlined gog. Only heard of two other sails caught, both off Boca. In Boca inlet by 3. |

Nice work. I think I passed you. Green Oceanmaster? I was in a 23 Hydra Sport.
Fished from 11 to 3. We had a couple of King bites to the South of Boca inlet (120) saw one free jumper (160) and called it South of the pier. It was a little bumpy but it laid down. I am going to give it a rest for a day or two, it has been slow.

Nope, white Ocean Master. Good job on the kings, too bad you didn't get the free jumper. Kings chewed us up, must have lost 10 baits within a few hours off Boynton. Even had a smoker skyrocket on a flatline in 300ft...don't see that too often.

Went Tuesday. It was pretty snotty on the beach. I had to stay on my toes when we were inside.
I tried to catch bait for about 2 hours only caught a couple of Grunts and Yellowtails. We called it around nine, never went Sailfishing.

If the weather is good on Saturday I am fishing the Sword tournement on the "Emijess". I will be shot on Sunday but I will probably Sailfish on Monday. If the weather is no good, I will definetly Sailfish either Sat. or Sun.

Did anyone go? I saw a sporty flying 3 release flags when I came over the bridge before. We were going to go but, it looked like the wind was kicking up.

Well at least the boat got to sit in the water at the ramp TD when do you head back out of town? I'm thinking the next weekend after the cold front comes through should be really good for sails. What do you think? |

It can't get any worse. We have just been picking at best (we have been slack though). I agree it should happen soon. I have a friend who fished a dead bait tourney up in Stuart the last few days. It was not that good, low #s. As of yesterday (have not talked to him today, I think he is running back home as we speak). He was in third with 6 fish. I thought that East wind would have made it turn on, It pushed a couple of fish for us, but that was it. Hopefully this next cold front will make something happen. I am thinking Wednesday, Thursday. It looks like the wind will be backing down for the weekend. If the wind drops, we are back at the Swords.
I am around till February, change of plans, For the best.,

It sounded like a handful of Sailfish up by Jap rock. That was all with kites, or ballons I guess there was not much wind in the A.M. Everything was 100 to 150 as well as everything we trolled (never put the kites up). There was a nice rip line in about 150 with scattered weed but, the water was a little green. We are taking tomorrow off due to the forcast but if it drops out I guess we are Swording on Wednesday.
As a side my friend fished up in Stuart in a tournement and ended up third with 4 or five for 2 days. The winning boat had 10 ( all dead bait). It will happen soon.

The Sailfish are biting hard in front of Lauderdale right now. Front came through yesterday around 2pm and they started tailing south pretty fast.
