Winter Time Sailfishing

I don't know about you guys, but I can't wait much longer for the season to be in South FL. I am re-lining my reels, washing the kites, etc.

There is nothing better than a nice drift with a few goggle eyes out off the kite and some flat line herrings.

The pro's expect a great year.

I am interested in sailfishing in Jamaica this December '05. When would be the best time? Which Jamaican port city would be located by the best sailfish area? Is it reasonable/attainable for a person to attempt this with no fishing experience?

im getting a feeling this year is going to be kick a$$ for the sails . i have caught quite a few over the summer and cant wait for the first big cold front.
