Had a charter on sunday, Uncle Buck and a few of his friends. Got a bunch of gog's in the AM, picked up the people at 8 and were fishing soon after. First drift went 1-2 on sails, had a leader touch on the second one but fish had only been hooked for 10-15 seconds and broke off on the bow tow eye as soon as I got hold of the leader. Kites would not stay up after, so we moved on to a deeper wreck and dropped the jigs, nice AJ's played and many were not stopped. Even the mighty Alu Gorilla with 40lbs of drag got laughed at . The biggest one we got was in the 40's. While jigging a school of dolphin swam by and we boxed 2 nice ones. Also 2 football blackfins on the jigs. Wind picked back up and the kite went out, soon after nice 35lb cobe in tha box. Played with some snake kings at the end and then called it. Fun day, spring fishin is pickin up for sure, after this blow bite should be on.
