Yea there's not many ugly looking boats over in Ocean Reef. I'm going to be taking a pretty 61 Viking called Moma to relax and kick back some cold ones while the boss man is not there.

How did you all do? We caught two or three dolphin, a king, and missed a sail...
. Tons of boats out there on saturday! One of the most unusual things I have seen happened. When we were setting up a drift in 225' aound noon, I was setting out the flats when I saw a flash. Pectoral fins spread wide and a tail both lit up electric blue.... an a sizeable fish.... a sailfish? It swam up to the boat and swam around a few times and took off but not before I identified it, not as a sailfish, but as a white marlin. The marlin was completely uninterested in our live goggle eyes that we pitched to him but it was still a cool site to see a white marlin swimming freely around the boat. Big swells out there in 250 too ---> 9-11' swells moving through occasionally with consistent 8'. Very long periods so it wasn't too bad. It was calmer inshore. Around 100' it was more like 2-3.

Nothing out there today but two big Manta's that circled the boat for about 1/2 hour on the kite drift.
Only thing of any interest was a sizeable school of kings busting bait on the surface. Couldn't get close enough to throw anything to them though. As soon as I got within 100 yards they would sound then pop up 500 yards away in another spot.
