i agree. i fish 40+ sportfishers and we have the angler stay forward. once the fish is gaffed or attemped to be gaffed we have the angler put the drag down so we dont loose the fish. many times in tournaments we have the angler have it locked down and we will miss the gaff and he will jump and spit the hook. it sucks when you have a 30+fish and you loose it at the boat.
