Im looking to set up 2 bent but rods for tuna/sword chunking to use staying in rod holders ( not stand up). Any advice as to what reel to use between the shimano or penn 80 wide 2 speed? Also what line test, brand or color? Does color make any difference? Im new to this and any advice would be much appreciated.

Go with a Shimano 50 WLRSA. You can not beat this reel. Load it up with 130 Jerry Brown Hollow Core and a top shot and you are good to go. This is the reel that I use on my sword setups. Have the reel on a rod that has Wind On guides.
