I am very curious to know if any of you have ever used lights other than Hydroglow systems for attracting bait or other fish such as SWORDS to the surface. Here on the west coast I have personaly instahled and use several different kinds of AC 110 volt and DC 12 volt lights religiously. You all have some of the best systems available which are actualy manufactured in South Florida. Take a look at UNDERWATERLIGHTS.COM for some info. These lights are very expensive, but are built like tanks. They last for a very long time and are made to service with ease. I do have a handfull of others if any one is interested. All of these systems I actualy mount directly to the boat. No cords on the deck, nothing to clear when you get bit by BIG BERTHA OR MOE and nothing to tangle your rods with. Flip a switch on and go! Just curious.

I had them installed on the 50 Viking I was running. They worked great in the Northeast Canyons for tune ect. My present boss is thinking of upgrading to a 61 Viking and I will make sure that a full array is installed. There is no doubt about the attraction of lights even just for bait factor.
