quick question...
i was wonderin if any of you fish only with squid, and keep of the live baits. if so how succesfull is it when compared to mixing it up with live bait???

curious as well. I fished both. I hear you get more mako's with live bait. but I a NOOB.

we very RARELY will fish live bait. Mostly dead squid.

If the tinker mackerals are avail at the boat we will fish them live and sometimes dead also.

We have had atleast 1 fish on in our last 6 trips... dont jinx us

Only dead squids for us. Don't have time to mess with live bait. :thumright:
