So there I am, Parachute pants , dew rag and brand new vans. I have my cardboard all set up to spin on my head and do the windmill (which by the way thank you Uncle Buck for fine tuning my moves). It's windy, I am geting motion sickness in my tree, then I here something it looks like a deer or maybe a dog, No it is the biggest house cat I have ever seen, and it has a collar on. So I did the only thing I could, I pinned it to a tree with a Broadhead. No I did not shoot it but can you believe it, in the middle of no where in the mountains and I find a house cat. :???: Oh well saw a Doe but oppted not to drop it, I think all this talk lately about killing is making me soft.

I don't shoot Does unless we want the meat. This early in the season I am really still scouting, unless the right one comes along. Alot of places have to many deer so they let you take as many does as you want, but they limit the Bucks. I am not really into the killing as much as the hunting, and so far the deer are far smarter than me. The cats on the other hand.

Depending on where you go it has changed. My famialy owns a little more than 100 acres upstate (N.Y.), we have owned it for I think it's 76 years. That has been the same as long as I remember. Where i am in Vt. once you push away from the Ski mountain it is the woods, there is nothing, but where I live alot of times you can see houses from where we hunt. The funny thing is the deer where I live are the smartest out of all the deer we hunt. They are familiar with people and know how to avoid them.

We were in Mount Laurel at the time. I lived in Medford Lakes until moved to Florida when I was about two or three.
