I have a reverse problem. I want to use a very heavy weight 10 - 15 lbs to get to the bottom , but I want to lose it very easily on the drop if my bait gets picked up or when it gets to bottom. I am using a rig from main line of 2lb weight , leader then hook. I have been putting the big weight on light line tied to leader above hook. so far too lite or too heavy . any ideas ?

QQ,
I was thinking the same thing. Right now I have lights and wieghts on LL clips and it makes it easy to clip on and when a fish get close to the boat its even easier to remove than a ripping a rubber band. I did not know if anyone was doing that on ballons. Its a Pain to get rubber bands not to slide. |

Hi Guys. For Years Of Tuna Chunking We Use #64 Bands Also-they Stay In Place Or Slide Down To The Leader. If It Doesnt Slide Down Grab It And Stretch The Band And Slide It Back And Forth Several Times Real Fast On The Main Line And It Will Heat Up And Pop Off. Also Another Way Is To Use Electricans Tape With Several Wraps And Tear It Off As It Comes Up. The Gook Left On The Main Line Is The Next Mark To Reapply.
