swordfishing we like blue and green. If you are sinking them deep you are better off to go with electrical lights if it is wihtin your budget. They pay for themselves pretty quickly.

Electralumes are pretty good.

Check with Polar, he has some good ones, at good prices. May find him easier on the FS forum.

I'm here, I tested mine to 500 feet with no leaks, I gotta do another order cause I'm out. I'll get you some price soon, green and blue seem to be the most popular.

Polar's light sticks are very bright and hold up down to over 500'. After loosing an LP last night, I'm not replacing it.... gonna fish with light stick on a couple rods and see if it really makes a difference(or if it actually helps...hmmmm).

Default What is your definition of tuna candy?

Tuna Candy:

BTW - what is your definition of tuna candy?

Have you tried the LP dual cyalume glowsticks that clip onto thicker mono? I can't say that I have seen glowing material oozing from these. But mostly I use the LP electrolumes for all depths. And the single cyalumes are good for the balloons. Usa an electrolume for your deeper drops if you have problems.

I have used (on occasion) the cyalume sticks that are in the foil wrappers and they seem to leak after subjected to depth like you say.

Do you know what swordfish candy is?

Thanks RT. We use the electrolume but my fishing friends insist that we put 3 or 4 cyalumes on the leader as well. I saw the post on a polar cylume?

I have been out 10 - 12 times and I cannot figure these crazy fish out, so no I don't know what swordfish candy is I wish I did......
