Tiagra 50wlrs vs Avet Pro EX50W...

I'm having trouble deciding between these two reels... The track record sounds near perfect for both reels on the long range boats... Shimano of course has a much better track record overall, but I do like the overhead of the EX 50's drag (57lbs)... Plus the EX is significantly lighter (67oz vs 86oz) and cheaper... Have you guys had any bad experiences with the Avet pro EX 50W?...

Do the Tiagra's. Many people will provide varying viewpoints based upon their experience and what they committed to. I have a fully objective view and experience with both. Can't go wrong with either, but the Tiagra is as study as they come and finish wise I have seen the Avets corrode quicker if you don't fully clean them after each trip (after about a year). The Avet is a great light package, but although it sounds heavy in a chair or standup harness the weight being low is basically un noticable. My 2 cents.
