First time - long time. I know I have read somewhere on this forum, but can't remember where. What is the formula used for estimating the weight of swordfish?

Try length X girth X girth divided by 800.
Example: 70 inch length X 50 inch girth X 50 inch girth = 175,000 divided by 800 = 218 pounds This is usually right on but nothing is as accurate as weighing a fish.
