Hydro Glow goes in DEEP
Talked to Hydro Glow and they said they have only tested them to 75' deep.
Anyone been deeper with them? I want to try 120' with one on each down rigger to simulate a bait ball. Bioluminescent is how I find predators here stealth at 10-30 knots as I can clearly see the bait when they run as they think I am a predator and usually come charging in. Makos come in just ahead of the white water wake 3-10' off the hull seen as many as 3 on each side at a time swimming super fast for a split second unless you pull the throttle back they will stay with the boat. I circle balls of bait on the new moon admitting bioluminescent as it's the same thing predators do and they come up flying air born. Swordfish are looking for bioluminescent to and the hydro glow is the perfect
light color the same as natural bioluminescent as it gets for monster lights. One on each down rigger should be enough for them to play ball bait ball simulator that is. Pretty simple to rig this up just a matter of breaking them or not, hate to learn the hard way.
Hope someone can help?
Just went through some data from the shark tageing program.
Makos to 12' Threshers to 19'6" getting it ready to send to NOAA.
