Default Marine Grade Bean Bags

I was web-surfing a little bit this evening to catch up on some lost web-clicking (those wi-fi lap-top deprived vacations) and ran across this interesting site which specializes in boating bean bags. Haven't noticed any referrals to this site before on SFC so figured it may be good to post it.

I would only imagine that there may be an angler or two that may me interested in such off-shore fishing accessories, the bags that is!

http://www.e-searider.com/

(Adm. Mike - perhaps you may want to post this link on your Misc. products Links section if you think it is a good one.)

BTW - I found this by following a great spearfishing thread on another forum. (A pretty cool read if you like Deep Sea fishing, spearfishing, technical diving or simply pictures of spectacular fish.)

Hint: 400+ lb. Warsaw Grouper story. http://www.spearboard.com/showthread...7&page=1&pp=15

Happy reading and may your next bean bag be a good one. RT

I've been following this on the other forum. It seems like the general consensus is to go with $20.00 bean bags from Wal-Mart or Target as long as they are vinyl and made of poly beans Vs. the $100.00 plus shipping E-SeaRider version. Searider looks like a nice bag not to mention the Blonde sitting on them but a little pricey.

BE NICE. You do get what you pay for when you purchase a product from us. All of our products are tournamnet tested and professionally proven for over 9 years! We also have a lifetime warranty.

You can't compare a wal-mart product to our product. That would be like going swordfishing with a pocket fisherman and a banjo minnow or like sending your wife to wal-mart to buy lingerie  Is 80.00 worth a lifetime of comfortable boating??

Sorry for the rant guys..Bad way to introduce myself I guess, But at least I found a new forum to play in. My name is Pat and I enjoy bottomfishing, trolling, and spearfishing. I found this forum from risktakers post and am friend's with Dan (the guy that shot that big Warsaw in the previous post) If you haven't read the story yet your missing a great one. Anyhow The guys and girls at E-SeaRider do alot of fishing and we'll be posting some pics here. We are doing several trips to the lumps and floaters off venice soon and will have some great photo's.

Pat. I meant know disrespect. Your product does look nice and there is no question that it is better quality than the ones from Wal- Target. My buddy just bought one from you and that was what made me start researching them. The problem was I need two and wasn't prepared to come off $250.00. My buddy went to the superstore to try the $20.00. one. He plopped down on it and covered the whole store whit white ploy balls as it exploded. My point in the last post was for twenty bucks it might be a worth while investment to see if your really want to spend the $100.00 plus on a marine grade one. If you don't like it toss it if it works out spend the money on the marine grade version. Good luck and welcome to the forum.

Yes she comes with the bag....To tournaments that is Her name is Katey Sykes and she is actually pretty good with a rod.....and reel . Seriously, she has a pending IGFA 80lb line class record for a 90+ AJ, and is quite the accomplished spearfisher. She also tangles with big rusty belly gags, huge red snapper, monster muttons and can whoop the mangoes when the bite is on. So if you don't mind being outfished I can give her your number .

Well I shopped around and looked at the superstore bean bags. Yeah they were $17.00 - $20.00 but really questioned the size and it appears that they stuck a sodder iron through the plastic zipper so you could not refill them. I had a Buddy who went ahead and ordered two from E-Searider last week and I decided to wait and see how they worked out. They arrived the day before our trip and they were bad @ss. No comparison. I was jealous and we hadn't even left the dock. It was a bumpy ride and needless to say I wish we ordered them. Once we got to our destination the people on his boat were in love with them and would have bought two more on the spot if they were available. The most unbelievable thing was they were just as popular on the dock as they were on the boat. If you haven't seen one or plopped down in one and you still want to be happy with the $20.00 bag than I would suggest never ever go anywhere near one of those E-Searider bags. Yeah I'm sure the $17.00 bag is better than sitting on the deck but seeing and sitting in them both first hand the $17.00 one does not even compare. All my buddy could say is he could not wait to get home so he could put them in the family room. Just thought I would share my experience with you.

I have to add that I bought an EZ Rider bean bag and they were great! My girl wanted to keep it in the house. They have several different designs to choose from. And the customer service was wonderful as well.

The Sea Rider bags are AWESOME! My customers on our long-range trips look at me and ask "what's the bean bag for?" I say "that's for me for the ride over and the ride back. You guys can stand."

I purchased one a week ago, I have to say the ez rider made my dy a lot nicer. My kid slept in while I fished and I got to nap in it while she swam . Great product light weight, hosed it off and ready to use again.

I got 2 E-Sea Rider bean bags custom colored to match my boat. After every one "calling shotgun" for them from the parking lot I had to get 2 more. The thought of a long run without them in an open boat...
Two in the stern one on each side of the console. Work it back into a reclined positon, pop in the I-Pod, lay back out of the wind and rock out. Wake up on the spot felling like you just left the dock.
The WalMart ones suck. Blood stains them and so does everything else. The good ones you can just spray off.
My 2 cents.

Default I was looking for bean bag chairs and bought two E-Sea Riderss

I bought two E-Sea Rider bean bags several months back. They have made several offshore trips and have become the seats of choice on my boat. Easy to clean and look extra nice on the boat. Glad I found you guys. Your product is well worth what you are asking for it. Before I found the E-Sea Rider I asked a local canvas shop for a quote on a bean bag of similar size. Needless to say it was much more expensive than yours. I was very satisfied with your price....

Can't agree more. These are the best marine grade bean bags on the market. For offshore fishing, it can get very comfy even in rough seas.

Let's see some pictures of those out at sea.

The quality is outstanding, I have been out in 6 to 8 footers and I slept like a baby. I dont leave the dock without them. Best purchase I have ever made.

Got my esearider bags a couple months back. Our boat was having some work done, so just got back into fishing a couple weeks ago. When swordfishing the bean bags are a MUST. We put to in the stern corners and then one up front when drifting.

When we want them out of the way the we store them on t-top. Got the idea from a couple other guys on the net.

I doubt there is much difference from the 2 companies products...

As for me I bought 4 bags from esearider over 2 years ago at the boat show. I gave 2 to my best bud and have 2 on my boat. Beans bags sure are a great idea for offshore fishing.

i Have a 28 bert express and I want to throw some bean bags on the engine covers butted against the bulkhead. How much do they slide around in a rolly sea and is there any way of fastening them to the floor to prevent sliding?
thanks\

There alot better then you think no need to fasten them down might get in the way of you running across the cockpit and causing a accident when your ready to troll toss them in the cabin and be done with them until it's time for the ride home.
