Rigging question

I got my 2500 yds spool of Jerry brown 130HC. Now I was thinking of doing a wind-on (50ft-100ft) directly to the JB, no mono topshot. No mono backing either. I'm filling this sucker with as much braid as it can take.

I'm going to be deep dropping from 420

to 1000 feet and then do the occasional daytime swording in deeper.

Does that sound like a good idea or is there a better way of rigging it?

you really dont need that much line if u are not going deeper than 1000 ft but you can rig it any way you want. you can daytime swordfish with the rig u are planning on using

thanks. You don't think that long wind-on leader is going to be a problem for deep dropping do you. All the deep dropping i've done, it's been chicken rig straight to the braid...
Wondering if I should splice a loop and do loop to loop with wind-on only when I daytime and offshore knot a snap-swivel to the loop when deep dropping?
I don't know, maybe i'm thinking too much
