Hey Titou, I also am in the carribean. Although we were catching swords without the hydrglow, since using it we get a ton of bait around the boat. And although this maybe coincidence, very shortly after the bait gets to the boat we start getting bites. Its gotten to a point that my crew wait for the bait to show and then start getting pumped to catch a fish

Guys catch a lot of fish without a light but I think more fish are caught with a light.
The HydroGlow is big light. There is another light called the Swordlight by Rumblefish. This is a 24" dual bulb light that puts out more lumens than a 4 footer. It also will not flex as the the HydroGlow does so it won't break like the 4 foot lights will. Simply it's a much more durable light system. Since it has 2 bulbs, you can mix and match your colors. Available color selection is Green, Blue, White. It has a self contained weight and the entire light is 33" long. They are working on an even shorter light (18") that will be more in line with the lumen output of a 4 foot standard bulb. If anyone needs more info on the Swordlight... please contact me and we can provide some pictures before they make it to the website. -Tek |

Thanks for the replies guys. I am excited to try this light out no matter what. At least I will be the only one on the island to try it first. If it turns out to be a scecret weapon, I will keep it hush hush.
I want to know if it works for other fish as well. I thought I saw some people bringing tuna up this way. I also got some flying fish nets, and I am wondering if the bait fish really come around that much? Thanks |

We use the light while bait fishing all the time.
I have customers that fish inshore with them as well for snook and tarpon. Attracting baitfish is key... once they show up... the bigger fish won't be far behind. Good luck! |
