Default spinning reel harness clips

Does anybody know a name brand of a plate that can be added on to a spinning reel set up that would allow the use of a harness? I am putting together some heavy duty spinning sets with braid with the idea of targeting big tuna, dolphin and marlin and Id like to be able to "clip in" if its going to be a long fight.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Richard,

If you can't find the website directly, take a look at " Another Grand's " posts as we had this same discussion about a year back or so.

I cannot seem to find me bookmark for these rings.

They make them in built-in and aftermarket clamp-on models.

I believe what you would do is wrap the rod with the straps from the harness in front of the reel seat and hook them to each other- HOWEVER THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS AND NOT RECOMMENDED

Thanks but I would not do that-Its not a secure attachment that I could count on. There is a bolt on product made for this purpose. I will call Captain Harrys if no one can help me out with a name.

Thanks guy. I got them and installed them on my new killer spinning rods and I am ready to crush them in the Dry Tortugas this weekend. I will give you a followup report after I use them.
