Question ballyhoo lures?

do u use a special lure and/or method to catch ballyhoo dont have a goldmine of em down here but it wouldnt b so bad 2 have a couple fresh ones for wahoo and
phins'.

chum them up with oatmeal and use a throw net if they school up and are close enough. You can also use a small gold "hair" hook tipped with squid or shrimp.

I've always done like wahooman, and chummed them up, then caught them with a bobber, tiny hook, and a piece of bait.

The only time you can use a net is if they're REALLY thick... otherwise they spook. You can also try a chum bomb which is chum mixed with sand. It explodes when it hits the water and blocks the boat from the sight of the ballyhoo... easier to throw a net on them that way...
