SACRAMENTO RIVER - KING SALMON- . Water flows at 9,500 CFS.Fishing for King Salmon is fair, 1 to 4 fish days, up & down . Increasing numbers of salmon are passing over the Red Bluff Diversion Dam, which is good news, more salmon are in the river now than last year at this time . Kirk and clients are catching nice kings in the Balls Ferry area, using Flatfish and bouncing roe, salmon are ranging in size, 15-30 lbs., definitely a late year for the salmon returning to the Sac this year.

SACRAMENTO RIVER - RAINBOW TROUT- Redding, CA - Water flows is currently at 9,500 CFS. Fly fishing, drifting, for rainbow trout is good. Kirk and his clients are producing many nice rainbows, from 2- 6 lbs.,. drifting Redding to Anderson, morning and evenings, great. Using Pheasant tail #14 -16 & Micro Mayfly Nymphs. . Spin fishing good, using glo bugs and crickets.

Lake Shasta -SALMON /TROUT Redding, CA - Kirk and clients are fishing a combo trip on the lake, fishing for salmon & trout, fishing is great . Kirk and clients are catching nice Rainbow trout, 2-6 lb. , on Lake Shasta , 80 ft deep, trolling, using shad pattern lures, fishing around the Digger Bay area and main body of lake.
