It's too bad the honorable governor of Alaska didn't know who the prime minister of Canada is. Aren't they neighbors? She did dodge most
of the BS pretty well; it could have been a disaster. Sarah and
Joe the Plummer in 2012. neal

Neal,

Just a FYI.... Sarkozy is not the PM of Canada, he is the President of France. He assumed the office on 16 May 2007 after defeating Socialist Party candidate Ségolène Royal.

Not trying to diss you or anything, just setting the record straight. My view on this "joke" is that there is blame to go around, from the assholes, (canadian talk show shock jocks), to Palins staff who did not verify who these jokers were and to Sarah herself who's only fault is that she was being honest and tried to accept people for who they say they are. I am sure that she is going to learn very quickly how nasty people truly can be.

BTW... Sarah Palin is not a MILF, she is a MILO, (mother I'd like in office). She is a real person, not plastic and phoney like most politicians. She does not have alterior motives and could not possibly do any worse than most in office; my personaly feeling is that she will do much better than most.

Just my .02

Martin, Please read about the full joke or hit the u-tube link
above, From today's Sun Sen'l and many other sources,

When Audette refers to Canadian singer Steph Carse as Canada's prime minister, Palin replies: "Well, he's doing fine and yeah, when you come into a position underestimated it gives you an opportunity to prove the pundits and the critics wrong. You work that much harder." Canada's prime minister is Stephen Harper.

Good memory on the bumper sticker. Let's wait 'til tuesday before
we speculate anymore on her future. If she pulls it off with the

Funny that you bring up Palins clothes. Do you wish to comment on the "free" clothes that Hillary got for her campaign. The pant suits alone were valued at 7 to 9 thousand per outfit.

Well Martin it takes a lot more work to make Hillary look good when compared to Palin!

QQ, you might be on to something but this is not about Hillary. It is about Martin's Palin...Don't let Moose have abortions, shoot them instead while teaching abstinence while wearing designer outfits and make up artists for the photo ops with the trophy. Nothing plastic and phoney about this single most unqualified VP pick in history.

This election crap has broken down to a lot of BS from both sides.Jokes and opinions are one thing. But this crap has got to stop.Thank god the election is on Tues. While Palin might be the worst VP pick I think Obama is the worst Pres pick.

So lets all just let the cards fall were they may.May the best person for our future win.

I'll refer to my collegue QQ's comment that she is much better than Obama who is the worst Presidential pick in US history. Don't worry you may soon find that out for yourself. Let's see just how wonderful you think he is in the next few years.

Agreed. If he is bad as you believe, I'll be the first to admit it. If he helps this country as I believe, I hope you will be one of the first to admit it.

JT,

I am the first to admit that I do not have all the anwers. Luckily, I was blessed with intelligence, common sense and the will to do what I believe is right. If I am wrong about Obama, I will most assuredly admit that I was wrong. I have no problem admitting my mistakes and I sincerely appreciate that you say you are willing to do the same...

Regards,

Martin

I don't know why I feel compelled to answer here, because unlike me, most only read the anti Obama BS. I read both including the made up crap by another forum member. I could sit here and write many things that she did as governor that were wrong like abusing her powers to get her Bro-in-Law fired, taking billions in earmarked money for a Bridge, then chanting her campaign cry "Thanks, but No Thanks" YET she didn't send those billions of taxpayer dollars back to Congress, etc. etc.... The only problem is that anything posted in reference to the (R) side ticket falls on deaf ears.

If you guys would, just for once, take an objective view you would see that McCains pick for VP is and of itself the single most point that could/will cost him the election. Most independent voters and many (excluding the die-hard party line) Democrats were in favor of McCain until he picked Governor Palin for VP. Your hard line defense of her is mind boggling. You lose sight of the fact that there has been 17 assassinations/attempts in our history. Many times in this nations history, the President has become too ill to carry out his position. 4 US presidents have died while in office... William Henry Harrison died 1 month after his inaugartation of pneumonia and pleurosy and Zachary Taylor died from eating bad cherries and milk, crazy as it sounds but sh!t happens! There are other reasons like impeachment, resignation. etc that are a lesser possibility.

This position is almost equally important as the presidential candidate himself. For some reason, it is taken more lightly than it should be.

As far as seeing how good Obama is in the next few years. Don't concede the election yet! Whoever should he become president is powerless on most of his tax promises for the first 2 years. Bush's tax laws don't expire until 2010... I'm not sure how that is done and I would hate to see Obama or McCain in 2010 persuade his Congress and Senate to initate his tax plan to expire, well into the next Presidency. That is political handcuffs! Absolute BS!

Nuff said!

Jim, re-read the numbers it was not "billions" it was slightly less than 300 million. And the money was turned around and used for infratructure repair of roads and other projects that created more jobs.

No argument there... who would you honestly trust more to be VP in case of assination or death by disease, Greasy Joe biden or a regular American citizen who understands how the general public struggles.

Your right, I was around 300 million, and your right, she continues to build the road that dead ends at the "Bridge to Nowhere"

I always try to take an objective view.

But, do you really, or is one eye always closed?

The one thing I got from that Prank call to her office that was supposedly France's President Sarkozy... her lack of respect to him as a President. repeatedly she referred to him by his first name, on what was their first conversation ever. This wasn't Joe the Plumber or her neighbor the Moose Hunter, calling... in her mind it was the President of France, and this is how she speaks to foreign leaders? A serious lack of experience and diplomacy, for sure. The main street, good ol girl, act needs some serious polishing. She also chuckled her possible intentions to run for US Pres. Would you vote for her?
I was trying to simply portray her in a realistic light. Who gives a crap what she is wearing. She is not a viable candidate for any office above state governor and even that might be questionable, by opinion.

No usually both eyes are always opened but I have been known to close one eye when my cocktail hour occasionally stretches to two or three hours. ( I do not know what the problem is with that, it all started after reading political posts on this forum ).

I guess we all have our faults, some more than others.....
