Canyon Anyone ?

Anyone looking on going to the canyon this week/weekend?

My buddy just got back today with almost 30 fish! He ran straight to the Hudson and the bite was red hot. He had 9 yellows 30 to 70 pounds. 12 Albacore. 6 bluefin on the cold side of the break up to 150 pounds but mostly 60-80pounds) and a Bigeye :!:

Suprisingly he had no nightbite, just a few ugly bluesharks.

Other boats had some nightbite but mostly trolled fish.

Cant wait to get out there after that report. The weather is looking a little iffy this weekend but I might make the run.

My Dad has friends in Jersey out of Cape May and they came back with I think 15 yellows to 60 pounds. Had zero action at night and had squid devouring the chunks before they could get them down. All 15 were on the troll the next morning

Either the Wilmington Canyon or the Spencer.
