Default Sharking expects in New Jersey

Usually there are Blues and Makos in the area but if you are thinking of going for the big one now, then you could be in for a bad surprise....

Well try again next year in May or June

I wonder how are the fishes biting in those affected areas... even the big guys like sharks can't get away from the fury of the hurricane...

From what I remember, even a week after a huge storm the Makos were back here in NJ. They are few and far between as it is. Back in the 80's we averages on per trip. As the yr 2000 came around, it was one every 3 to 5 trips. This one was caught whilst giant tuna fishing in the fall.
