New to bluewater offshore fishing in NE (on my own boat)

I just purchased a 30ft SeaVee and im looking for some info on offshore fishing in the NE on my own. I have NEVER been out on my own boat for tuna's and shark but that is why I got this boat. I have no idea where to do, and no idea how to fish for them. Is there anyone out there that loves this type of fishing that doesnt have a boat? I would love to take someone out to show me a few things.

I live in Westhampton. We could probably figure something out.

How much gas do you hold and do you know what you burn?

well now i just tried to contact the guy selling me the boat and hes not taking my payment. so well see. Ill keep you in touch, but I still have a smaller boat to run around the island with if anyone is interested in getting into some bass/blues/tunies
