Headed out with Marcel on his 27 contender. Got a earlier than normal start and the seas were nice on the way out, about 1-3 ft with a small north swell. Ran into some decent blackfins on the way out, around the 79.55, cant miss them if your interested. Got setup on the normal spot and got tight on the first drop. Wound up doing 7 drops total and got bit on 6 of them. We hooked 5 fish and boated 2 of them, both were right around 60 inches. The second one came up jumping 3 times near the boat, always cool to see. Second to last drop of the day we hooked a nice fish, we had him on for about 25 minutes and never moved him more than 100ft off the bottom, then the hook pulled. At one point as soon as the weight hit bottom you were tight, think that was on drops 3-5, needless to say they were biiting
