Marlin My 1st Blue

Friday Morning we headed out port Everglades to do a little trolling. We are equiped and ready to fill the boxes with dodo's. Got a real nice spread out around 6:45 and began my ritual of pop a beer and lite up a smoke get my self relaxed and just wait. 20 minutes go by and I decide to look back and check the spread, just as I do there he is working his way up the spread. He decides to crush a ballyhoo with a blue and white islander. Fish on!!!!!!!!!! I exclaim what happens for the next hour and a half I will never forget. He worked me and that tld 25 like nobodys business. On the first time we got the fish to the boat I could tell that he was big but he did not want to get to close as of yet. After almost spooling us we bring him to the boat again as he is about six feet from the side of the boat and about six feet under he leaps strait up in the air and at that point we got the best view you could ever ask for. My friend yells holy s--- he is over 200. Well that was the last time we laid eyes on him for the next half hour. Two more times to the boat and finally we get him close enough to release ten seconds later he is ready and off he goes. What an unbelievable creature, 20 jumps, tailwalks, and some grayhounding made for one hell of a performance.

Congrats on the blue.
Missed one myself last week and two others over the past year.

They are out there.

Now you need the white!
