IGFA Anglers Digest will begin broadcasting in 2007 to over 20 million households in the USA and Canada. The show's pilot episode features a trip aboard the Crystal from Cabo San Lucas to San Diego traveling 900 miles along the Pacific coast of the Baja Penninsula.
Future episodes are planned to feature other destinations in Mexico including; a return trip to Cabo San Lucas to fish for marlin, tuna and dorado; a trip to the Buena Vista Beach Resort on Baja's East Cape; and a trip to Puerto Vallarta in search of world record yellowfin tuna. IGFA Anglers Digest is hosted and directed by Bill Boyce, renown marine photographer, angler and Marine Biologist and is filmed and produced by Richard Chudy and Dolores Peralta, owners of several internet based companies including CabosBest.com, TotallyHD.TV and IGFA Anglers Digest. Backed by the long-standing and respected International Game Fish Association, IGFA Anglers Digest aims to entertain sport fishing and adventure travel enthusiasts with High Definition programs that bring the outdoor lifestyle into viewers homes. One of the key objectives of the show is to educate anglers as to the importance of marine species conservation and sustainability. In addition to fishing and travel adventures, the crew of the show will also work closely with internationally based scientists in order to raise much needed funding for satellite tagging programs that lead to viable fisheries management solutions.
