Default marlins strikes just starboard lures.

hi, my name is victor and i troll the atlantic blue marlin in the canary islands. i have a question. all the marlins i have hooked up this season have striked the long starboard outrigger, except one to the short starboard outrigger. no strike to the other positions. if i change the lures of position they attack the same position. i dont understand why. my propeller is a volvo penta z drive with duoprop.
could somebody help me? thanks

Try trimming the boat and or out drive up or down. Some guys like a dirty wake lots of wash some like it clean.See what you have behind your boat and try to change it.Are you fishing teasers? If not try some about the 2nd or 3rd wake back with a bait behind it.Are you fishing lures or natural baits?Try both and see if that helps.Try adjusting your speed and make sure your baits are running right. Some baits work best at certain speeds so make sure your spread has lures that all troll at the same speed.Good luck.

Default thanks a lot

i troll fishing lures. all lures seem to run ok, and are made for the same speed range. i dont understand why a lure that fish starboard dosnt fish larboard at the same distance to the boat. it dosnt matter the direction, or if its morning or evening. allways starboard. as you say IŽll keep trying different things, and lets see what happens. thanks a lot.

How many strikes are we talking about? 50/50 strikes this year on the rigger, or 3/3?

How fast are you dragging them and is it usually rough or calm? I imagine its rough.
