Default Abacos Bahamas Fishing Report

The Reel Candy Sportfishing crew has been hard at it for the past couple weeks. Now that the winds have finally subsided, both the Reel Candy and the Island Candy have been running nearly every day.
Last week, both boats were booked for the Treasure Cay leg of the Bahamas Billfish Championship. We were able to catch and release a nice Blue Marlin in the tournament and caught many large dolphin and even a couple small Wahoo.
The dolphin have finally made it and most are on the fat side. You know when you are pulling your lures away from 30 lb dolphin, they are thick.
This past Monday, the Reel Candy hooked up to another Blue Marlin along with lots of Mahi. The next day, Island Candy caught another Blue Marlin. Yesterday, the Island Candy had the Glen Goldstein party out for a half day trip and quickly loaded up with plenty of Mahi.
Both boats are booked for the rest of the month and each day seems to get better. We will try to keep the reports coming each day. Don’t forget to check out our website and look at the great package deals we have set up with The Abaco Beach Resort in Marsh Harbour. Now is the time to be in the Abacos !!!
