Default Lingerman Pitman Deep Drop Combo

MAY consider selling a LP 10/0 Deep drop combo rod and reel. The reel alone at LP lists for $1695.00 . I had LP go through the reel and motor and install a new cord and switch just to give it a clean bill of health. It comes with a bent but rod that is stiff enough to pull a 48oz trolling sinker for wahoo. all afto roller guides, swivel top. and spectra 130 lb.
If you went to buy it new it would cost over 2 grand.

If you are in the market for one and want to make serious offer I will consider it. I can tell you right now you are NOT going to steal it. I will keep it before I let that happen.
Features

More power with greater speed for deep water and big fish
Splash proof
Moisture and corrosion resistant
Isolated electrical system reduces chance of electric shock
Silicone bronze worm gear
100% Ball bearing drive
Rugged PENN Senator 10/0 reel
24-32 volt direct current operation
Compatible with 12 volt electrical systems utilizing a 12 volt satellite battery
Unit automatically recharges satellite battery with alternator current
Quiet smooth operation

Default 600 $US without rod

Capt. Ken:

Let's get this ball rolling.

I will start out the offers with 600 U.S. green-backs and I do not need the rod. Now there is some money on the table. Now all you have to do is: Nothing at all, or to declare an asking price, (Or put it on E-bay), Or you can accept the offer.

Remember - It's not stealing if you still have visitation rights. Besides, you have probably slayed so many Snappers and Groups with that winch (Sharks don't count), that you could justify giving it away, and cash in hand is just a Bonus.

Default We've got a Savvy e-bay auctioner here.

That's funny.

With an offer like that I would not be surprised at all if Capt.. Ken doesn't lower his asking price by a 1 $US.

You may have to go higher. I think family visitation rights are worth more than a few pennies.

Were you expecting to get a rod with that offer, too?

Hey, weren't you that guy with the Big Golden Tile fish? I know you...

Default Do we have any other bids?

Clearly Quack Quack has me outbid, since I have no e-mail notifications of being the high bidder, so far.

So I am going to bump my offer.

Capt. Ken, I will offer you $600 cash, plus another $100 the next time we go fishing as my fuel/bait contribution for the trip. (Plus all the usual rations of Rum, Cervesas, and snacks provided above that.)
Oh yeah, not including the rod either.

Now, who will beat that? QQ?

(And two fillets of Yellow-eye snapper, extra rations for the capt., along with an extra double-shot of 23 year old rum. Can't offer the Captain a 23 yr. old Hottie: the Admiral may get a bit steamed under the collar.)
