Default Runners question

Anybody getting any runners out of St. Lucie inlet? I've heard the 14A buoy is good, but that is a little bit of a hike for me. I have also heard not to waste any time on them, as most of the swords are on dead squid right now. Any comments on that?

Thanks

Junk Hole, House of Refuge rocks, and Pecks Lake, as well as any other shallow patch reefs you know. Chumbag/sabiki should get you some sort of suitable bait for swords. With that said I'd go swording without the livies. I wouldn,t go without the squid. If you have the time try a few livies, just about anything will do. I've seen em eat grunts, snapper, jacks, gogs, rainbow runners, speedos, and mullet. Don't make the mistake of missing the sunset bite messin around trying to get bait. Grab sum squidz and go.
Good Luck,
DF2
