Government Cut Live Bait

Is the bait still thick around Gov Cut? We usually start making the run from Hollywood this time of year to fill up the livewell. The new live bait guy in Port Everglades raised his prices and the guy in Halover always has the smallest pilchards.

Last time at Gov Cut we pulled up about 3 dozen herrings off the range marker.. but I'm looking for the xl pilchards.

We've been having good luck at the high to outgoing tide throwing the net around the bridges in the ICW. Big giant Pilchards

. Kings have been gobbling em up. Seems like the gogs have been a little deeper the last week or so 50-60' off the back of the first reef.

We have been working bug light or the range marker... Checked the fairy docks a couple weeks ago and marked a few schools on the finder. Not sure about the gogs.

There is a guy named frank he runs the Ashely boats they are bait guys they give us good sized pilchards like 4-5in i forgot his # sorry bro

I have tons of goggs and threads. Pilchards are available also. Give me a call anytime. I have big goggs and small goggs for the bottom.

are you avail in the haulover area on the weekday mornings? I go out in the weekdays sometimes and none of teh bait guys are there. I'd like to call in an order the night before if possible
