Any tips on catching Gogs in Fort Lauderdale? Buying them sure gets expensive.

You are better off to buy them... This time of the year you can get them jsut outside the port before sunrise...

Hillsboro has always been easier for me to find them...

If you are going swordfishing, 1/4 to 1/2 dozen is all you need. If you use them all, you are in for a good night!

if you're going out of ft. lauderdale, go south to the Barracuda Reef bouys and tie up, put out a chum bag and tip a sabiki rig with squid. you should get sailors choice, pilchards, 'hoos, blue runners and some gogs. trick is tyhat is works best an hour BEFORE sunrise. thats a long time to keep baits alive until the sword fleet leaves, but it can be done.
