Default Mullet Run Reports

For all those following the mullet run in Southeast Florida, we can discuss it here.

I fished last night and the finger mullet were not THICK by any means, but plenty of schools to have a good night of snook/tarpon fishing.

Let's get some eyes out there and update this thread.

I heard the finger mullet were carpeting Boynton inlet a week ago. Haven't heard any update since then.

They are thick in certain areas for sure...

I was in the Fort Lauderdale ICW and the schools were scattered but easy enough to find and catch tarpon....

I was running the boat up to Lake worth from Boca yesterday and saw 6 big bait schools right inside Boynton was think and right before the Lantana bridge. Those were where the two biggest schools I saw on the way up.

Great pics.

Boynton Inlet and surrounding canals have thickened up quite a bit this past weekend - also, ventured up to the beach in Delray and schools were cruising south with predators in tow. Should only get better with some more fronts.

october is usually the run off the beaches.. you can find them in the ICW now..

We had a really good/weird run off the beach this year after that first cold front.... millions of mullet packed the beaches with big tarpon on them.

We had a few shots at tarpon well over 100 pounds with numerous snook caught in the the trough..
