SFC Gogs at Boca

We fished this morning from 5 am to sunrise (a bit late really) and loaded up on gogs out of boca - look on your depth finder between 8' and 15' of water for the pods along the beach and the patch reefs at that depth.

no, we slow trolled the sabikis - you can stop once you find the gogs. A lot of times you find big pods on your depth finder. Once you find the school, stop and jig to catch them faster. Chum really isn't necessary. A lot of times, once you stop, they just school up under your boat for cover. If they do that, it's really fun

I wonder if it is the same out of PE.
It is way to crowded in the port at 5 am with everyone going for gogs there.

we slow troll and use a little jig at the end which the gogs actuallr really like. eight wise, if you're jigging, I wouldn't go lighter than 6-8 oz or they'll tangle
