Marlin The King Bite

No one has really reported on the Kings. Has anyone gone out for them yet?

Kings have been somewhat elusive in the panhandle. Red Tide and rough seas have kept us from getting into many of them.

It's a weird year we put to sea yesterday and were getting kings in VA just off the beach still. hopefully the seas will calm down so that we can get back to the DEEP

Green Swordfish

I'm just waiting for that first cold front to come by to head out for them. I haven't heard much reports about them here in Miami this year.

Thumbs up

Kings stayed further North this summer then they have in the past. Jupiter and St.Lucie saw good numbers through the middle of August. The majority of the fish are in the Canaveral areas right now. Hopefully they will come south this winter instead of staying off of Sabastian like last winter.

Hooked a pair of kings today while bottom fishing in about 100'. One clipped through the mono leader at boatside, and the other just pulled off the hook shortly into the fight. The latter was hooked on wire. Meh, nothing to speak of really.

King bite seems to be pretty slow hope it picks up after our first cold front.
