Default Bobbers for Kings?

Can someone tell how many king fishermen use bobbers?

Do guides use them?

Are they used in tournaments?

True Bobbers, no, but baloons & the odd cajun thunder have been deployed w success.

Sometimes on real calm days we suspend a bait under a baloon to get it away from the boat, but keep him struggling near the surface etc.

Bobbler for Kingfish?? I never rolled that way.

Funny I was out fishing KF one time with a few friends. I was getting agrivated because they were running bobbers and stuff to get the bait out. I yelled at them and told them they can get one right at the side of the boat and they didnt need that stuff. I put my bait in the water off the tip of the rod and almost lost my arm when I got railroaded by a 35lb fish as I was yelling at them.

If getting off to the side is a benefit would a small castable planer board be more effctive?

I hate to use a site I am not advertising on to ask questions but I have something new that might help catch more kingfish.

I just can't spend on advetising until someone proves there is a market of some value. I'm from Ohio and know nothing about saltwater fishing.

Check the BulletBobber out and give me a feel for usage on Kingfish or other salts.

Thanks
