Default St. Thomas Kingfish

Had a little in house tourney for the guys that work for me for nothing more then bragging rights on the job-site. We all talk alot of shit while at work so we decided to put our money were our mouths were and see who could get the biggest kingfish.

My buddy Lars who consistently catches a butt-load of fish in his 13ft Tortola dingy was up by 5 nice fish. He basically had it in the bag since we only had a small one in the boat and he had a nice 15-20lber so I decided to change location a bit.

The idea worked and we landed about a 20 something pounder but knew he could still stick it to us. Just as I was letting the ballyhoo on the outrigger back down into the water after catching the previous fish no more then 15 yards behind the boat this guy exploded out of the water no shit about 25ft straight in to the air ballyhoo hanging out of the side of his mouth and all. My jaw hit the floor since I had never seen a king jump this high. I was damb near looking straight up at this thing. Even better caught him on a spinning reel. I'm 6'-5" to give you size reference. I think it went right about 50lbs.

Anyways we won. I get to brag and talk a bit of shit for awhile now!!!!!

Tight work. The biggest kings are in your area. World record was caught not far away from you in PR. SKA has to do a tourney in your neck of the woods.
