Default 50+lb Kingfish from shore

Caught him on half a Bonito. He was 60.5 inches.

What tackle were you using, rod reel, line test??? etc.....

Pretty impressive catch from the sand, that's for sure...

I was using an alutecnos 50/80 spooled with 100lb Power Pro, which is on a 7'6"custom shark rod built by Blackfin Rods.

thats a big kingfish, from shore, thats incredible, I have caught alot of big kings within casting distaance of the beach from a boat but that fish is nothing less than MONSTER, nice goin, next time try a whole one...
