Started out trolling in 60 ft, no hits until the Downrigger with a split tail mullet dressed with a black/red islander got nailed in 320 ft. Downrigger was set for 125 ft. Hoped for a wahoo, but ended up with a good size king. While we were clearing the lines a sail came into the spread and BAM, fish on. Nice double with a Sail and a king, 2 people on the boat, chinese fire drill comes to mind. Boated the king, released the sail. Nothing for a while then the rt rigger pops and Mahi on, brought him to the boat, smaller one, 8 lbs, relesed for good karma- have plenty of 'fin in the freezer. Then came in and picked up 1 more nice king in 50 ft. Had several short strikes. Tried deep droppingfor tiles but not far enough south. Dropped on the 327 lump, nada there too. Good day overall. 1/1 on Mahi, 1/1 on sail, 1/1 on bonita, 2/2 on King, 0/4 on mystery fish.

Nice. Looks like a good day to me. Might want to check the humps if you can make it out again this week. Lots of small blackfins( seared for dinner last night ).........and something big enuff to send them runnin across the surface for thier lives
