Hi,
My husband and I live in Savannah, Ga. We would like to book a charter to fish for swordfish. We are willing to travel to LA, FL, etc... 14 hours would be about the max to travel. We are looking for a reputable, established, experienced, etc.. captain/boat. Any suggestions?I've had quotes from La for 2900.00 and some from Key West for 800.00. Seems like a pretty big difference. We have paid as much as 1800.00 for a tuna charter. The trip was well worth the money. Thanks in advance for any and all input. Denise |

Go to South Florida - Miami or Fort Lauderdale. The swordfishing is the best there. Tons of capts to choose from, but my recommendation is for the New Lattitude.
A swordfish charter shouldnt cost you more than 1000.00. It all depends on size of boat and captain. The center console guys get out there faster and catch just as much fish as the big boats. Good Luck

Thanks for the input guys. I looked up Cary's website; checked it out and liked what I saw. I'll be calling or emailing him shortly.
