Default Looking 4 a Port Aransas area fishing partner

I'm retired and looking for a gung-ho bluewater fishing partner that can go offshore any time they feel like it... like me

There's some great fishing to be done in the Fall and Winter, but it must be fit into the rare calm days between cold fronts. They always seem to happen when everyone has to work.

I'm in Ingleside-on-the-Bay, TX, fish out of Port Aransas, and ain't happy unless I'm in blue water. I'm rigged for 50-80 lb standup gear plus lighter tackle. I generally target billfish and the attendant bycatch of Wahoo, Tuna, and Dolphin. A typical trip offshore in "Oh Kay" uses 60-90 gallons of gas, lunch, and a couple dozen ballyhoo. Anyone from the Corpus-Port Aransas area interested in sharing my enthusiasm and expenses?

With a couple days worth of notice, I can do it. Some times with less notice than that. I ran charters in the Florida panhandle for the last 8 years. Now I live in Houston. Drop me an e-mail brianb0e@yahoo.com
