Well its been long overdue, but i finally joined SFC .I was undecided in joining ,but when a good friend of mine by the name of ReelIntubaiter ask me to go swordfishing for the first ,i said lets do it .It was slow the first couple of times out ,but then on July 4,2005 my luck and hooked up with 100 pounder .I was amazed by the power this fish had for its ,cherry popped. I was given the web site to view the fish and was surprised how big these fish can get .I also was able to read the different articles and concerns from other fishermans and helpfull ideas that includes rigging and tackle . thanks for coming aboard. Thanks for welcoming me onboard Al is a great fisherman and is always prepared when it comes to fishing wether it be swordfish to sailfish ,he knows how to handle it . And I cannot leave out another fisherman that he goes out with is Freejumper because without him that swordfish would have never been landed ,so you have 2 fishermans the boat and the tackle so when you put all of these together you get one big fish.

Welcome aboard Abel1:

So tell me, do you like to eat swordfish?

It's a tough job but somebody has to do it; especially when you wind up catching them.

With this recent flurry of new posters, we may just have some interesting fishing reports in 2006. Post one on this forum when such an opportunity happens to you. And don't forget your camera: a post without a picture is only ordinary. A photo makes it extraordinary.

Another misfit joins the forum, aargh. irat: , right Able1?

P.S. - Tell Al there is a SESC meeting next week. I'll give him the details this weekend at the Mayor's Cup.

Default I dunno ...

Reel Life:

The Answer to that one is about as predictable as knowing when you will put the next slob in the boat. I look forward to that day though.

Actually, I do not know the agenda for next weeks meeting, other than it should be interesting one and full attendance is encouraged. Call RJ Boyle, or stop by his shop, he may be willing to let you know "what's up." For he holds the Thunder making device.

Looks like there is a window tonight, anybody going for a FIX tonight?
