Hi all. I have spent most of my fishing life out of Beach Haven, NJ. on the south end of Long Beach Island. For the last four years I have been the Captain of a private boat out of Barnegat light on the north end of LBI.
I have spent some time in the Outer Banks and last winter in Islamorada. Loved it. Learned a lot of new [ to me] fishing techniques. This year I am moving the boss' boat to Puerto Rico. We will be based out of Humacao, on the east coast. I am looking forward to learning these waters and fishing style. An old dog desires to learn new tricks. Any information you can offer on fishing and boating in this area will be greatfully appriciated. The boat is a 42' Henriques express with two yellow float balls hanging from the tower. She is being shipped down by Dockwise Yacht transport, arriving in November. The plan is to run her back to NJ on her own bottom in the spring. If you see me give a call on VHF 16. Capt. John Lewis THE SURPRISE
