Let' party
and fish I'm newly arrived from the frigid northeast and I consider myself a meat fisherman. I've caught a lot of flounders, ling (red hake, not cobia), cod, whiting, sea bass, tautogs, etc. Swordfish are the ultimate catch. Thanks for all the info from a long time lurker. Cool place but I have to stay away from OT. neal

Harry Hogge: Where's he from?
Tim Daland: California. Harry Hogge: Is he a Yankee? Tim Daland: If you're from California, you're not a Yankee. You're not really anything. Harry Hogge: You said it. Welcome.

A yankee is an overpaid baseball player?
I'm still hoping for Tampa Bay. But being an old jersee boy, a philly win is also worth celebrating. I was happy when the Marlins beat the Yankees in 2003. I've been to a few ball games here and boy can it get hot. Thanks for the greetings! Great fishing you have here. I hope to see some of you at a fishing meeting soon. neal |

Thanks everyone. As many of you probably know already, the person
in my avatar is Neal Cassady (different spelling) and as JT alluded to, Cassady was Dean Moriarty in Kerouac's classic, On the Road. Cassady's other claim to fame was to be one of Kesey's prankster and that he drove the furthur bus. He died way too young. neal |
