Trip to bahamas cancelled..whose goin swordin this weekend?

Hey guys, So, our trip to Marsh Habour got cancelled because our port engine failed 3 miles out of Port Everglades. Been plannin that trip for a year. Major engine damage and Pantropic (only authorized Caterpillar service dealer in south fl) cant service for 3-4 weeks. So my dad went home and Im living alone on our dead boat at bahia mar for the next 3 weeks. Im going to Captain's School starting Monday at 6-10pm during the week for 2 weeks.

I am just wondering if anyone would want an extra hand on a sword trip from now til monday. I dont even care about reelin in the fish, ill clean the boat and do anything just for a trip out there. Its killin me that we didnt even get to drop a line when we should be trolling for Blues and YFT right now. I have lots of swordfishing equipment including:
hydraglow, 4 50lb outfits with 750 yards of brand new Diamond 50, new wind ons, gaff, electralumes, flahsers, weights, harness/belt, gloves etc. I would split fuel costs if I wasnt a college student

. I'll help pay for biat though.

I am very familiar with all types of boats and consider myself pretty knowledgable at swordfishing at this point and it would be great for me to get some more hours before i start sea school. I am also free to fish all day long during the next 3 weeks until like 4pm. I can travel an hour in either direction to your boat. Like I said, i'll clean the boat etc and i dont even care about fightin the fish, I just really wanna get out there to join in on the fun...im looking out my window at the flat ocean right now, im sure most of ya'll are out there as i type.

Hey man...sorry I didn't get back to you earlier. I'll give you a call later today. Unfortunately we can't fish on my boat because it is under contract and about to be shipped to California. If I find an open spot somewhere I'll let you know...you definitely deserve to get out there. Sorry to hear about the boat trouble, I know how bummed you must be.
