I just signed up and don't know much about marlin fishing but I have been deep sea fishing sence I was 4, partly because my dad owns the thunderstar inat shem creek. my best catch on that boat was a 21 lb. red snapper. Although that was a very nice catch, my best catch of all was down in florida and that was a 300 lb. bull shark.
