Just wanted to say hello. After 15 years without a boat I finally got another Mako. 3rd one for me. Yea, I know another Mako nut. Hey, you tend to go with who brought you to the dance. I'm also a member of Classic Mako. I have been reading on this site for about 6 wks. I am very impressed with the knowledge on this fourm. That being said,I am reading everything on Swordfishing .My current Mako is only 21' cutty but I have fished of the Cape since 84.I no my limatations and what gear I will require. Going to try the daytime route first. Late March or April. Again thanks for all the info -Jeff

I must say you people are a spirited bunch of anglers. I just finished following the thread on pros and cons on daytime and nightime fishing with electric and non electric reels. All I can say is WOW. My opening intro I say I was going to try daytime fishing. Now I don't know!. I figured me being from Orlando and not knowing the area I could get my feet wet. I have done my research and I will be cranking them up by HAND. Done deep jigging off of Canavaral for years. Grouper to 50 lbs. Red snapper to 36lbs. Not a rookie to that part of sport. I'm 59 years old and I figure I got another 7 years left until I woun't be able to jig. It's a back thing. So thanks again-Jeff
