Went out to Hog Heaven to shoot up some hogs.

Got me 3 meat hogs.


My man Charles on the left did a killer drive by on a nice sow (not shown)
He said them days in the hood and as a Marine in Nam helped in his point and shoot skills. Now he's a preacher.



Then owner mentions that he has a Ram on the property that he needs to get rid of cause it is attacking the White Tails and that he would let it go for a $150.00 fee.
I said heck yeah..I know that a nice ram hunt will run upwards of $600.00
Anyway, while the rest of my party was getting ready for the afternoon dove hunt I was preparing for a ram hunt.

Low and behold...out behind the lodge the ram shows up and the kid there says hey...shhhhhh...look and there he is just on the edge.

By the time I got the gun the ram had made his way back into the woods. I made my way to the second floor of the lodge to see if I could spot him and about 100yds in the woods he was standing there with a perfect side shot looking at us. I put the crosshairs of the 270 on him. I was nervous cause all my buddies were watching.
BANG...double lung shot and he goes down... and get this the mount is only $250.00 and I saw the quality in the guys trophy room so it looks good.

And they included a killer lunch!

Meat hogs are $100, the small ones are $20.00 and they need to take out a bunch of them little ones.
